This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains how cancellations and refunds are handled for services purchased from Run Around AI through runaroundai.com or via direct communication.

1. General

  • Our services are professional, digital, and customized to your specific requirements.

  • Because of this, refunds are limited and subject to the conditions below.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all our web design and related service packages, including the three main packages (e.g., Basic, Bronze, Gold) and any custom or add-on services.

3. Project initiation and advance payments

  • To start a project, we may charge a non-refundable advance (for example, 30–50% of the total project value).

  • This advance secures your slot in our schedule and covers initial time spent on planning, communication, and design work.

As a general rule, the initial advance is non-refundable once the project is confirmed and work has started.

4. Cancellation before work starts

  • If you request cancellation before we begin any actual project work (planning, design, or development), we may, at our discretion, refund a part of the amount paid after deducting any administrative or transaction charges (including Razorpay or bank fees).

  • This is evaluated case by case.

5. Cancellation after work has started

Once work has started, refunds are handled as follows:

  1. After initial planning/design concept is shared

    • If you cancel after initial planning, wireframes, or design concepts are shared, we may deduct a reasonable portion of the total project cost to cover work done and refund any remaining amount, if applicable.

  2. During the design/development phase

    • If significant design or development work has been completed, we may not be able to offer a refund.

    • In such cases, we may provide the partially completed work (design files, layouts) where feasible.

  3. After final delivery or website launch

    • Once the website is delivered, made live on your domain, or final files are handed over, no refunds will be provided.

6. Package upgrades or downgrades

  • If you choose to upgrade from a lower package (Basic) to a higher package (Bronze/Gold), we will adjust the cost accordingly. Previously paid amount will be adjusted towards the higher package.

  • If you request a downgrade to a smaller package after work begins, any price difference may not be fully refundable, especially where work corresponding to the higher package has already been completed.

7. Delays caused by the client

If the project is delayed primarily because of the client (e.g., delays in providing content, feedback, or approvals):

  • We may place the project on hold after a certain period of inactivity, after informing you.

  • In such cases, the amount paid is not automatically refundable.

  • We will make reasonable efforts to resume work when you are ready, subject to our availability and any updated pricing or scope.

8. Non-refundable items

The following are generally non-refundable once purchased or registered:

  • Domain name registration or renewal charges

  • Hosting charges and server-related costs

  • Third-party plugin or theme licenses

  • Any third-party tools or subscriptions purchased specifically for your project

  • Payment gateway (Razorpay) transaction or convenience fees

These are usually paid to third-party providers and cannot be recovered.

9. Refund method and Razorpay

  • For payments made via Razorpay, any approved refund will generally be processed back through Razorpay to the original payment method, subject to Razorpay’s processes and timelines.

  • Transaction fees or charges deducted by Razorpay or banks may not be refundable.

  • Refund processing time may vary, typically ranging from 7–10 working days or as per bank/gateway policies.

10. Chargebacks and disputes

  • If you have a concern, you agree to first contact us at usitdallas@gmail.com to attempt resolution before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer.

  • Unreasonable or fraudulent chargebacks may lead to suspension of services and possible legal action to recover any losses or fees.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on our website with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of our services implies acceptance of the updated policy.
